Ministry of Culture presents:
Rio Innovation Week is the largest global technology and innovation event. In 2023, it brought together several actors from the Technology and Innovation ecosystem as well as members from different sectors of the economy that make up the 32 conferences that are part of the project. In 2024, the event takes place in August, between the 13th and 16th, at Píer Mauá, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. In addition to conferences, the project features a large Business Fair and unique experiences based on innovation and technology.
With a commitment to generating reflection and real impact to transform realities, Rio Innovation Week is an event that goes beyond encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.
The project has strategic action, guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Compact, thus ensuring responsibility in promoting an inclusive and economically sustainable future.
We promote an environment of opportunities, business, experiences and content, based on:
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion;
• Valuing and encouraging the multiplicity of ideas and opinions;
• Promoting pluralism and diversity in lectures;
• Search for representation in terms of gender, race, color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, people with disabilities, ages, social classes, among other characteristics of current society;
• Promotion of an inclusive environment with equal speaking opportunities for everyone.
